The Center for Effective Philanthropy is cohosting the next event in the Institute for Nonprofit Practice’s Leadership Learning Series, “Resilient Organizations: A Conversation with Maurice Mitchell” to address these and other questions.
Maurice Mitchell is the national director of the Working Families Party, a leader in the Movement for Black Lives, and a nationally recognized social movement strategist. In a recent essay, he deftly diagnoses the problems movement spaces face right now, names root causes and identifies symptoms, and offers concrete solutions to advance social progress with joy. Mitchell will be interviewed by and in conversation with Yolanda Coentro, president and CEO of the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.
