Chester County’s Commissioners have stepped up to help local nonprofits recover from the impact of COVID-19. Through the Restore Chester County Nonprofit Innovation & Resiliency Fund, the Commissioners obtained $3.5 million in federal CARES Act funding.

Formerly held in person and known as the Board Trustee Institute, this new virtual series will explore a variety of topics geared towards helping nonprofits grow and thrive during these troubling times.
To date, Chester County-based funders have awarded over $1.5 million in immediate grants to Chester County based nonprofit organizations.
The Richard R. Ruch inaugural scholarship recipient is Bethany Stern, an incoming junior at Penn State Berks, majoring in business management and marketing with an emphasis on finance.
