In November, the William Penn Foundation Board of Directors approved grants of nearly $20 million in support of Great Learning, Great Public Spaces and Watershed Protection.
Eligible businesses in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Houston and Philadelphia can apply for $10,000 grants. Additionally, over $2 million has been awarded to more than 20 community-based organizations and diverse chambers of commerce to provide support to BIPOC-owned, small businesses.
New funding brings the City’s direct support for small businesses to $38.7 million and for rental assistance to $39.4 million since start of the pandemic.
