Leeway's Fall 2020 Art and Change Grants (ACG) support 22 artists leading the exploration of how we adapt art and community-based practices in the time of a global pandemic. Cultural preservation and feminism were highlighted as trending areas of focus.

Grants will support underrepresented communities across the Greater Philadelphia region build their power by documenting, sharing, and preserving their experiences and stories, as well as strengthening their information networks. 

The Leeway Foundation announced $55,000 in funding for 31 individual women, trans and gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers in Greater Philadelphia, to support their work addressing a range of social change issues.

When philanthropists are deciding what stories and organizations they strategically support, it's important for them to understand and consider the diversity of paths, perspectives and entry points into the world of news and media making.

Thirty women, trans, and/or gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers in Greater Philadelphia were selected to receive the 2024 Art and Change Grant (ACG).

The Independence Public Media Foundation (IPMF) announces $2.6 million in its final round of grants for 2021, focused support for community-centered journalism, digital equity research and policy, community-led and operated radio stations, and filmmaking, with an emphasis on supporting artists from, and films about, underrepresented communities.
