An Open Letter to Philanthropy Network Members & Partners
We believe it is imperative that philanthropy understands, reflects, and responds to the growing diversity within our communities to deliver greater impact with our work. Through our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) work, we promote philanthropy’s ability and commitment to including diverse people in decision-making processes, promoting fair and impartial practices, and endorsing the equitable distribution of resources.
Philanthropy plays a vital role in the health and vitality of our region and our nation. By working together with nonprofits, businesses and government, philanthropy improves community conditions and contributes to civic life and leadership through the responsible use of collective assets, networks, research, voice and advocacy.
Our educational programs for members feature several different series that explore grantmaking strategy and practice. Visit our Event Calendar to find upcoming sessions.
