By working together with nonprofits, businesses and government, philanthropy improves community conditions and contributes to civic life and leadership through the responsible use of collective assets, networks, research, voice and advocacy.
Board and Staff
Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia's board is composed of individuals from many of our region's leading philanthropies, and who represent the broad range of funders and social investors that comprise our membership.
Collective Action
Whether through structured collective impact intiatives or less formal collaborative efforts, funders are increasingly working together to leverage their philanthropic investments. Equity in Philanthropy
As a continuation of Philanthropy Network’s comprehensive Equity in Philanthropy initiative, in spring 2019 we launched the inaugural Equity Cohort for foundations ready to take a deep-dive into this work and fully embrace a commitment to equity, and a Field Impact and Equity Scan to learn more about the state of regional philanthropic practices and to gain a better understanding of the needs of the membership as they relate to considerations of equity.
