Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia invites you to join us for an update on the COVID-19 Prevention & Response Fund, a community-led effort to invest in neighborhood-based solutions to urgent needs related to COVID-19. Since launching earlier this year, this special pooled fund has employed a rapid response, trust-based philanthropy model through two rounds of grants to support COVID-19 education, vaccine access, health resources, and outreach activities in priority communities in Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
During this meeting you will hear about how this trust-based, participatory funding model has been implemented, learn more about the first round of grant recipients and their work, and get a sneak peek at the second round of grant recipients, who will have just been notified of their grant award on June 29th.
