Please join the Montgomery County Funders’ Community of Practice on June 21 to learn about The Nelson Foundation’s new strategic direction that centers racial equity and social justice. Nelson's president Mindy Aldridge will share lessons from the Foundation’s process to engage in self-reflection about its contribution to systems of white supremacy, and to identify how to work toward ending structural racism. The group will discuss applications for other funders and implications for philanthropy on the whole.
