POTTSTOWN, May 5—With the announcement of a $100,000 matching grant, The Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation and the Foundation for Pottstown Education are providing a way for the community to help students in the borough continue their education during the coronavirus pandemic.
More than $250,000 awarded through The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia will be especially critical in light of COVID-19.
The Richard R. Ruch inaugural scholarship recipient is Bethany Stern, an incoming junior at Penn State Berks, majoring in business management and marketing with an emphasis on finance.
