Chester County’s Commissioners have stepped up to help local nonprofits recover from the impact of COVID-19. Through the Restore Chester County Nonprofit Innovation & Resiliency Fund, the Commissioners obtained $3.5 million in federal CARES Act funding.
The Nonprofit Innovation & Resiliency Fund was administered by the Chester County Community Foundation with input from regional funders, United Ways, and Chester County government departments
HealthSpark Foundation is announcing the award of $631,000 in grant funds to support 14 projects under the Safety Net Resiliency Initiative.
Coatesville's Collective Impact Initiative will help people live healthy and well by increasing employment, living wages, and housing stability for adults 18–24-year-old males and females of color living in Coatesville by 2026.
Grants include $3.5M for Project HOME to expand housing and support for people with substance use disorder.
