The next meeting of the Chester County Funders will include an update on economic revitalization initiatives and progress in the City of Coatesville, and an update on the COVID-19 vaccination process in the the county.
These briefings provide regional funders with an opportunity to update each other on efforts surrounding COVID-19 in Greater Philadelphia, share what they’re hearing about the needs in the community and steps they are taking to respond, and explore new initiatives and opportunities for collaboration.
Join us to hear an update on the COVID-19 Prevention & Response Fund, a special pooled fund supporting a community-led effort to invest in neighborhood-based solutions to urgent needs related to COVID-19.
In its second round of grants, the COVID-19 Prevention & Response Fund made grants totaling $668,885 to 84 individuals and nonprofit organizations working to increase COVID-19 education, vaccine access, health resources, and outreach activities in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester counties.

Coatesville's Collective Impact Initiative will help people live healthy and well by increasing employment, living wages, and housing stability for adults 18–24-year-old males and females of color living in Coatesville by 2026.
