The PHL COVID-19 Fund announced it will grant over $400,000 in its 8th round of funding to aid 23 area nonprofits working to support the safe reopening of communities. 

With $3.5 million in support from over 25 families, corporate, and philanthropic investors and supporters, the GreenLight Philadelphia Fund III will scale solutions to systemic challenges identified by communities that are experiencing poverty.

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the challenges faced by working mothers, but it has also provided an opportunity to not only address longstanding inequities but to strive for healing and change of systems that have consistently put women at a disadvantage.
