Montgomery County Funders: Increasing Equity in Grantmaking

Join the Montgomery County Funders’ Community of Practice for a discussion about policies and practices that increase equity in the grantmaking process.  In the context of a global pandemic that has highlighted existing entrenched systemic and institutional inequities, this session will highlight the work of several Montgomery County grantmakers who have begun the process of examining and implementing more racially equitable practices over the last year.  Participants will also hear from representatives of the recently created Montgomery County Recovery Office, which is committed to managing funds received through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in a bold, innovative, equitable manner.
