The Philly Counts 2020 Action Fund invites applications from eligible Philadelphia nonprofit organizations seeking to promote and support a fair and accurate count in the 2020 United States Census.
As a continuation of Philanthropy Network’s comprehensive Equity in Philanthropy initiative, in spring 2019 we launched the inaugural Equity Cohort for foundations ready to take a deep-dive into this work and fully embrace a commitment to equity, and a Field Impact and Equity Scan to learn more about the state of regional philanthropic practices and to gain a better understanding of the needs of the membership as they relate to considerations of equity.
A number of philanthropic response funds have been created to rapidly deploy resources to help our nonprofit community navigate near-and longer-term challenges from COVID-19 and ensure that critical resources remain available for those in our community who need it most.
