Barra Foundation Announces $520,000 in Immediate Funding

The Barra Foundation  is immediately dedicating $520,000 in grants to respond to the short-term needs of the region’s nonprofit organizations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with $50k in additional grant funds going to Food Connect to help feed those in urgent need.

Horizon Commits $2.5 Million for Masks, Face Shields, Food, and Social Services

In the largest single donation in its 88 year history, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ) is spending $2.35 million to donate 500,000 N95 respirator masks and 81,000 face shields to address the serious shortage of critical personal protection equipment in New Jersey as a result of COVID-19.
