POTTSTOWN, May 5—With the announcement of a $100,000 matching grant, The Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation and the Foundation for Pottstown Education are providing a way for the community to help students in the borough continue their education during the coronavirus pandemic.

With the deep and ever-widening economic inequities exposed by the COVID-19 crisis, it's time we come together to invest in strategies and policies that decrease and eventually eliminate the gender and racial wealth gap.

CCFWG will present two innovative programs -- the Virtual Girls in Action Summit on May 18th and Virtual 15th Annual Making a Difference Luncheon on June 5th -- to raise awareness about the pandemic’s impacts on local women and girls.
