The Local Innovations in Vaccine Equity in Pennsylvania project (LIVE PA) is a partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Health reduce vaccine hesitancy and ensuring an equitable vaccine distribution throughout the commonwealth. A total of $4.63 million is available, including $630,000 for faith- based organizations.
In late October, the Fund awarded its third round of grants totaling $170,500 to 52 nonprofit organizations and individuals working to increase COVID-19 education, vaccine access, health resources, and outreach activities in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester counties.
The organization's mission remains the same, but its new name will convey how it will carry out its mission into the future— by tackling the complex and often uncomfortable and inequitable health, economic and social issues that prevent people from attaining optimal health and prosperity.
